Composer

Instead of downloading zip files and copying folders around, Composer installs PHP libraries with one command and keeps them up to date. Almost every modern PHP package expects you to use it.

What you can do with it

• Add libraries like PHPMailer or Dompdf with one command
• Keep every library on the right version
• Load all your classes automatically with its autoloader
• Share a project and let others install the same setup

Good to know

Many cPanel hosts already have Composer on the terminal. If yours doesn't, run it on your own computer and upload the vendor folder.
