If you've ever imported a database on cPanel, you've used phpMyAdmin. It lets you browse tables, run SQL, import and export backups and fix data without the command line.
What you can do with it
- Import and export database backups
- Run SQL queries and edit rows by hand
- Create users, tables and indexes
- Check what's slowing a query down
Good to know
Most hosts already include it in cPanel, so you rarely need to install it yourself. Always export a backup before big changes.
