phpBB

phpBB is the old faithful of forums. It's stable, well documented and runs on almost any host, with lots of styles and extensions available.

What you can do with it

• Run a traditional forum with boards and topics
• Manage members, moderators and permissions
• Install free styles and extensions

Good to know

It looks a bit dated out of the box. A modern style makes a big difference.
